Our philosophy: Fuel + Let Go Boss

Most companies have values. Insert Fuel has two ideas — Fuel and Let Go Boss — and we score them. Live. Every day. They run our payroll, our coaching call, our hiring, our brand promise. This is what they mean.

Fuel

Fuel is powering other people by taking care of things. Loving them, helping them, supporting them. It is the material impact you drive for the people who depend on you.

We use the word as a verb. She fueled the launch. He fueled the team through a hard week. Fuel is active and generous. It is not coffee, not caffeine, not gas. It is interpersonal — the lift you give someone else.

Fuel for staff

Every person on our team is here to be fueled into someone bigger than they were when they joined. We pay fairly across borders — Pakistan, Philippines, Colombia, Syria, Australia, the United States. We coach them every Thursday at 1 PM Central. We publish their wins. And we measure how much fuel they put into the rocket — completed work, on time, that moves their client forward.

It rolls up to a number we call the Fuel Score (0–100). Every staff member sees it. The team sees it. It feeds payroll at month-end and the contribution leaderboard every week. Growth that does not show up in the number does not exist.

Fuel for community

Our community is the room you walk into when you need an answer, a kind word, a referral, or a swift kick. Members fuel each other through posts, the Thursday coaching call, our playbooks, and brand-to-brand collaborations.

The community is not an audience. It is a power source you give to and receive from. The members who give the most fuel rise to the top of the leaderboard, get the most kudos, and get pulled into more deals.

Fuel for clients

Our clients are brand owners and operators. Plumbers, lawyers, healers, builders, cabinet makers, dreamers. They came to us because they were stuck — too much to do, not enough people to do it, no time to learn the tools that could help.

We fuel them by shipping launches that would have stalled. Fixing the ad accounts they do not have time to learn. Building the bots that answer their leads at 2 AM. Running the daily standup that keeps their staff aligned. Their growth IS our deliverable. Every task is a measured drop of fuel they can see on their dashboard.

Fuel for the boss

The owner of Insert Fuel is also a person who needs fueling. The team fuels Basim by closing tasks without nudging, owning brands end-to-end, surfacing problems before they explode. The cleaner the team runs, the more energy the boss has to dream the next thing. And dreams are what create the next round of jobs for everyone in the chain.

Let Go Boss

Let Go Boss is the second idea. It is how much you can hand work off and trust it lands without nudging. It is the autonomy your team has earned, measured from the owner’s seat.

It is not a command we give the boss. It is a state the team earns FOR the boss.

The owner’s outcome

Every staff member has a live Let Go Boss Score (0–100). It starts at 100. It drops when a task gets reassigned away from them, when an overdue piles up, when first-response time slips past 12 hours, when work needs nudging.

It is the metric a Sunday night feels like.

When a staff member’s Let Go Boss score is 90+, Basim sleeps. When it dips into the 30s, Basim is up at 4 AM checking the brand’s chat to see what is breaking. The number is honest. We let it be honest because pretending otherwise costs us clients.

The flywheel

Fuel and Let Go Boss are not separate metrics. They are two ends of the same loop.

  1. Staff insert fuel. A team member completes a high-priority task on time, with no reassigns. Their Fuel score climbs.
  2. The boss can let go. One fewer thing the owner has to track. Their Let Go Boss score climbs because they did not have to nudge.
  3. The owner dreams bigger. With energy back, the owner spots the next opportunity. New brand, new product, new role — more fuel needed.
  4. Loop. Step 1 begins again with more room.

The flywheel is why Insert Fuel staff are paid to grow themselves into Let Go Bosses of their own clients. It is why our community is the place that fuels that becoming. And it is why our clients ultimately become Let Go Bosses themselves — that is what they hired us for.

How we score it (no hand-waving)

Inside the platform, every staff person sees their numbers in real time. Tasks completed (weighted by priority and on-time delivery). Tasks they created themselves vs ones the owner had to file for them (proactivity). Cycle time from created to done. Time spent in each status — not started, in progress — so we can see exactly where work stalls. Quality, defined as the percent of completed tasks that landed on-time AND received zero reassigns. Response time from when work is assigned to first action.

Plus AI sentiment ratings pulled from the messages clients and owners write about each person, so the number is not just speed, it is satisfaction too.

It is all live. Anyone on staff can pull up the leaderboard any time. Month-end is just an emphasis pass for payroll, and mid-month gets surfaced for our bi-weekly contractors.

The reason this matters

If you are a brand owner reading this: the reason most agencies feel like dead weight is that they cannot answer the question, “how much fuel did your team put into MY rocket this month?” They cannot, because they did not measure it.

We measure it. We share the dashboard with you. And we hire and coach against that number.

If you are a staff member reading this: the reason most jobs feel like a treadmill is that the work and the reward are disconnected. At Insert Fuel they are not. The Fuel you put in goes into a number that goes into the conversation that goes into the pay. Nothing is hidden.

If you are a community member reading this: thank you for fueling the rest of us. We see it.

And if you are a boss looking for the door — the one where you walk away on Friday and find the work shipped on Monday — that is what Let Go Boss means. We build toward it for you, and we coach the team to earn it.
