UI/UX Design & Websites
Beautiful, and built to be hard to leave
Make people want to look, then make it easy to say yes.
Attention is the whole game and almost nobody treats it as a discipline. A page gets about two seconds to earn the next ten, and it earns them the way anything does: it looks like it was made by somebody who cared, it says something the reader recognises as their own problem, and it does not make them work for the point.
So we design for the feeling first and the funnel second, because the feeling is what decides whether there is a funnel to measure. Type that reads, spacing that breathes, motion that means something, and one obvious thing to do next on every screen. The result should be worth showing off, which is not vanity: a site somebody is proud to send is a site that gets sent.
Then we go after the numbers. Where people stop scrolling, which headline gets clicked, which form field loses half of them, what the second visit does that the first one did not. We test the things that actually move a rate rather than the things that are easy to change, and we tell you which ones lost.
Underneath it is ordinary psychology used honestly: story, so the reader is somewhere in the middle of one rather than reading a list of features. Progress, because a thing half finished is a thing people come back to. Specificity, because a real number is believable and a rounded one is not. Friction removed where it costs you and left where it protects the person. None of it works on somebody who has been tricked, which is exactly why we do not.
What you get
- A site people are pleased to send to somebody
- One obvious next action on every screen
- Clickthrough, signup and conversion measured, then moved
- Copy and layout tested against each other, losers named
- Design that holds up on a phone at arm's length
Design people want to look at, on numbers you can check
Earn the attention first. Everything downstream depends on it.
Interface and brand design
Type, colour, spacing and motion handled properly, so the thing looks like it was made by somebody who cared. People trust that before they read a word.
Attention that holds
A page gets two seconds to earn the next ten. We build the opening around the problem the reader already has, then give them a reason to keep going.
Conversion rate optimisation
Clickthrough, signup and completion measured properly, then moved. We test what changes a rate rather than what is easy to change, and tell you which tests lost.
Story-led copy and layout
The reader should be somewhere in the middle of a story rather than reading a list of features. Same information, ordered so it lands.
Our 3-step approach to UI/UX Design & Websites
Here is exactly what to expect. We walk it with you rather than handing it over.
- 1
Watch what actually happens
Where people stop scrolling, which field loses half of them, what the second visit does that the first did not. The guessing stops here.
- 2
Design it properly
Interface, copy and one obvious next action per screen, made to a standard you would be pleased to send to somebody.
- 3
Test, and say what lost
Two versions, a real measurement and an honest answer. Half of what we try does not work, and you get told which half.

Attention is the whole game
Would you send your own website to somebody you wanted to impress?
If you hesitated, that is the answer, and it is costing you before anybody reads a word of your offer. We design the thing so it earns the look, holds it long enough to make the case, and then makes saying yes the easiest thing on the page. Then we measure the rate and move it, and tell you honestly which of our own ideas did not work.
